Hello wonderful people. It’s been a really busy week and hope you all have been doing well.
We are approaching yet another weekend and indeed a weekend that commences with the World Health day!
So today I’m back with another collaboration post with my ever amazing group of bloggers. This time we’ll be writing on health! I’m about to seize this moment to share my insights on health.
We live in an age where fitness is a craze. Every third person I come across is in some way conscious about his/her fitness and eating habits.
The workouts that our generation does within the walls of the gym were once done by our ancestors in the open. Our lifestyle has forced that change.
There was a time when a protruding belly was seen as a sign of a wealthy household. Now it’s nearly a shame.
Such have been the changes over the years.
However, one area I feel we still have struggled is our mental health. The number of suicides have risen, children can’t bear their parents scolding them. The outlook towards women has changed. Social insecurities and communal riots.
How important do you think is mental health? Shouldn’t mental health also get the attention it actually needs? Is it ok to be fit physically only?
Health is defined as a state of physical, social and mental health. The physical part is popular but I seriously think the social and mental part needs to make progress too.
On this World health day let’s work to cover all the fundamentals of health and not just make it all about the external appearance.
This post was part of a collaboration. Please do spare some time to read what my fellow bloggers have to say regarding health.

Have a great weekend. God bless!
