Self love and acceptance

  1. Very true. There’s greater happiness like truly accepting how special we are. We hear it at times from those around us …but if we don’t believe it from our hearts…it doesn’t mean anything…our thank you is just a reflection of the mundane routine society has influenced to being the norm…but when we see and believe how special we are…that thank you becomes a sincere bliss as our heart leaps in gratitude that another sees it. Bravo my friend.

      2. That’s so humble of you. I have so much to learn from you and this is like the best complement I can ever imagine…. I’m short of words now!

  2. “Always remember that you are the X factor of your own life” So true! I think sometimes we forget this and allow what others think of us to determine how we feel. Great post.

  3. This is a truly insightful post, Rainforest!
Love the multiplication analogy (partially because I love math and also because it’s so true!). Self-love is the algebra of life that equates to happiness and success.

    Happy Teacher’s day!

      1. Yep. They are simply the best.
But I always hated them when it came to permutations and combinations. πŸ˜›

  4. Great post! I like how you say self-love is like mathematics; multiply something by 0, you get 0. Too bad it’s not something they teach in school, but it’s never too late to learn. πŸ˜€

  5. I really like the equation, I never thought of self-respect as an equation, but it makes perfect sense. We never want to get to a point where we are feeling like a big “ZERO.” We are whole as long as we love and appreciate ourselves.
