Hello bloggers! Time for yet another collaboration. This time we are here with the theme, “One step at a time.”
In our world of today every soul talks about the importance of doing things in an order or to put it in simpler words, doing things one step at a time!
How many of us think that this order and simplicity is lacking in the way we treat our family and friends? Perhaps it’s our forcing approach that’s hindering us from strengthening our relations.
Each one of us is a proud owner of highly contrasting personalities. It takes time to understand and adjust to people around us.
For instance, when we meet someone new. What do we do? We try to know the person as much as we can, don’t we?
Initially nobody shows their negatives. Nobody likes their personality to be questioned. However, as time progresses, we learn even deeper things about this someone. Some habits which we hate and some that are adjustable.
We humans have this very annoying tendency of forcing ourselves on another person. Each one of us grows up in a different environment and a different social background. That doesn’t make anyone better or worse than someone else.
Like we fulfill our tasks one step at a time, even relations are built one step at a time. History is proof to this statement.
Take for instance your own lives. Who are your closest friends? They’ll most often be the ones you’ve known for a long time. People say that good friends are like wine, they get better with age. So true!
Why is it important to go the step by step way in building these strong bonds?
We all need to understand the basic law of nature that nobody is perfect. Your friends will possess habits that aren’t very pleasing to you. Remember it’s the person who’s your friend not his nature. (Its worth mentioning here that you should still choose your friends wisely). You are not buying a smartphone where you compare each feature. This is a human being!
Understand you friends. Let them know that you trust them. Trust is something that works wonders in such bonds. Let’s investigate that in your own life. Who knows your secrets? Who’s the first friend you share your sorrows with? It has to be your best friend (otherwise there’s something wrong). Hence, the connecting link between you and your best friend is trust.
Good friendships develop in stages. Never expect someone new to become your best friend overnight!
- Understand your friends
- Know their habits and accept them the way they are.
- Trust them.
- You will then receive the love you’ve shown.
Never forget the fact that every well known thing in this universe has a story to share, similarly friendship is a journey, let it develop one step at a time!
Here are the links to my fellow bloggers who’ve always added flavour to this grand collaboration.
Those links that aren’t functional will be updated once they are published!
Have a great day. God bless!
Good read this morning.

Hey J! I’ve been so busy and tired too. I’ve recently started pursuing my Master’s degree and I’m kinda too busy exercising my brain cells and for a little intervals of time when I am free, I’ll be too exhausted to read through all the blogs. I hope you’re feeling better now. That wasn’t an illusion. I missed you too. But my schedule is a bit tight… couple of upcoming exams, not to mention all the work for the classes! But I’ll catch up. Soon. ๐

Friendships are hard to find, but once you find them it’s good to not take them for granted. One can’t live a positive and healthy life isolated away from friendships. Friendships are always key.

Friendship! I love the topic. You covered it well. I LOVE “Never forget the fact that every well known thing in this universe has a story to share, similarly friendship is a journey, let it develop one step at a time!” This is so true. We need time to develop that bond, and we do this one step at a time. I love our little Talking Company friendship we’ve been developing! ๐

Yep. That’s why no matter how dormant we become, there’s always a bond that keeps drawing us together.

And like your newest six word story says, I think my mind is playing tricks on me. Did I just miss you on mine?
