The Power of mental strength!

  1. I’m glad I read your post this morning, Jothish. I enjoyed it, and felt it a good reminder of what to do — and what not to do. (I’m talking about the story about the guy with his malfunctioning car key, here.)

Mind, a little grumbling is fine now and again, providing that’s all it stays. It can’t get into your head so much that you let it ruin your whole day.

My example of this? My car didn’t start last week, and I was very annoyed because I had to be someplace important — people were counting on me, and there wasn’t anyone who could take my place. It took hours for the car to be jump-started, even though I am a member of an auto club and called right away.

Years ago, I would’ve been beyond annoyed at this. I would’ve been irate at something I couldn’t help or change.

Now? While I didn’t like it — who would? — I was able to get past it, stay reasonably serene, and get to the place I needed to go on time with much less stress.

And as you said, if you can remind yourself that you’ve been through things before and survived them just fine, that certainly helps!

Anyway, sorry it took me so long to get over here, but I’m very glad I did. Have a great day!

  2. You know the best part about reading your blogs?
The way you elaborate them. So systematically.
And apart from the amazing piece you have written, I loved the title ! Mental strength. The moment I read it, I knew It is going to be extra uplifting and motivating. And sure, I was bro.

  4. Nice post! I especially liked the line, “No problem is permanent. Itโ€™s your strength mentally that needs to be well developed and trained.” And yes, it’s how we approach a situation that’ll help solve our problems.

  5. What a great post Joseph, thanks for sharing and I appreciate the case studies. Mental strength is the real strength as it comes from within and it fuel all other human strength. Stay blessed and keep up the good work.

  6. I love the diversity of our articles! “A strong mind is a prosperous mind!” You are so right!!! The case scenarios are perfect. We are always going to encounter adversity, it is how we choose to react to the situation is what matters more. You are so wise!

  7. What a great take on the theme! Very very true.
The power of the mind is very great. So if we can learn to strengthen our minds, there’s no limit to what we can achieve. And to the levels of confidence we can reach!

This is a great post, Rainforest.
